Maxx Silver is a multi instrumentalist, songwriter and producer who was born and lives south of London England.
His debut release called “Silverado” which is also known as “Adventures in Music Volume 1” was released 220811 and had 12 Tracks

A 1st single from “Silverado” entitled “Sacred Trust” , best described as atmospheric pop, was released December 2011, with a promotional video, filmed in Lake Garda, Limone, Italy, which can be seen on You Tube.
Featuring several different styles Maxx explained at the time of release that the pieces of music on the album are a collection of "landscapes" from the filmic qualities of the title track via world music on "Sukha (Happiness)" and back to drum and bass on "Special" , ghoulish house on "Dr Phibes" and eclectic pop/ dance for much of the rest. At over an hour in length this was considered something of an epic debut. "The real surprise" wrote one reviewer "is that the quality of the music, and the originality, and the enjoyability of the project is sustained over much of the hour"
A second album “Shades of Silver” was released 221112 . This is said to have a slightly grittier style than the debut , due to the use of hip hop orientated drum machines, but it again covers a wide range of styles. The dance tracks including “Ways and Means” , “Fly Spirit Fly” and “Shades of Silver” have been well received by DJ’s.
The first track from the album to have a video was a jazzy instrumental called “The Healer” which has a video on You Tube which consists entirely of pictures of flowers at Great Dixter Gardens in East Sussex.
The second single for release was "Melt U" released 09/02/13 an atmospheric, wintry Jazz influenced track.

Reviews praised the progression in style of the second album, "if this had come some large recording company, we would all be hyping this
guy who produces such original and approachable electronic music as the next big thing" "Authenticity in music cannot be faked, and the music is all the more refreshing for that fact - you can hear the rustling of paper on "Red Letter Day" and you can feel the doubts, hopes and emotions of a real person"
The track "Turn Back the Time" was written with Susana Secret, who also performs vocal duties on this pop/dance track. Who is Susana? That is a secret...
A third album "The Maxx Factor" was released 310313 featured four remixed versions from "Silverado", four remixed versions from "Shades of Silver" and four unreleased tracks. The shorter remixed version of "Sienna Miller" already has a video on You Tube as does a remixed version with added bass and percussion, of "Silverado"

Due to the distributor messing up, track 12 is sometimes described as "Beacon". Please note that this is not a track called "Beacon"
Maxx released an album of instrumental music called "New Classical" on 14/10/14, all written and performed by himself. 8 pieces are piano pieces
with 3 being orchestral or synthesised / new age pieces.

Another album of new songs, is being worked upon due for release hopefully in 2015. The working title of this is "The Madness of Maxx" or "Psychology"
Maxx is however, mainly in the Electronica and Dance category but writes and performs songs on his releases which he considers to have more of a pop influence.
All the material is written and performed by himself - he is adept at keyboards, and improvisation, and whilst sequencers are sometimes used
most of the music is played freehand - even the fast parts.
Maxx is a big fan of Italy, he loves the country, its culture and its scenery and this comes across in the videos and music
